Black Panther’ star Chadwick Boseman dies at 43

 

Chadwick Boseman has also played the Black Panther character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and is well known as a US star in Jackie Robinson’s ’42’ and James Brown’s ‘Get Up.’

Boseman has been battling colon cancer since 2016 and has died in his home. He was forty-three.

Chadwick Aaron Boseman was born in 1976 in South Carolina and later graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Director’s degree from Howard University in Washington, D.C. He then enrolled at the British American Drama Academy in Oxford, England.

Boseman was brought up and baptized as a Christian. Boseman was a member of a community of church and youth, and his former pastor said he held faith also. Boseman said that before he was cast as a character into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he was praying to be the Black Panther.

He was a vegetarian.

In 2019, Boseman was interested and they were later married to singer Taylor Simone Ledward.

In 2008, Boseman also starred in Gary Fleder’s The Express, a sports biopic about legendary Ernie Davis, who was a Civil Rights player at Syracuse University. Rob Brown and Dennis Quaid also co-starred in the film, with Boseman being a boy from Floyd Little.

Boseman was the first African American to take on the majors in the 20th generation. At about the same time, he took the lead in Jackie Robinson biopic 42, which tells the story of the legendary baseballer who shattered racial barriers.

Boseman has participated in 2016 in Marvel’s Film Universe by joining Captain America: Civil War as a superhero team. He had played the mighty Black Panther, T’Challa, king of the African nation of Wakanda.
