The veteran and well-established film actor Mithun Chakraborty is also referred to in the Indian cinema industry as the ‘Mithun Da.’ He is also the actor, producer, writer, social worker, businessman and anchor, and former parliamentarian Rajya Sabha. Among his works are Mera Rakshak (1978), Prem Vivah (1979), and Disco Dancer (1982), Pyaar Ka Mandir (1988), and Phool Aur Angaar (1993) in Bollywood. He is well-known.
Mithun was born into the Hindu-Bengali family in Bangladesh in 1950 as Gourang Chakraborty in Barisal, Eastern Pakistan. He is now living in Ooty with his family, Tamil Nadu. In Kolkata, he obtained his school education and graduated from Scottish Church College, Kolkata, in chemistry. He joined the Indian Film and Television Institute in Pune, India after completing his degree. Very few people knew he was a Naxalite and associate of Ravi Ranjan ‘s famous Naxalite until the mid-1980s before joining the cinema industry. He was forced to leave the Naxal movement due to certain events at home and started to pursue his career in cinema.
Mithun Da began his acting career in 1976 with the film ‘Mrigaya’ which he won for Best Actor the National Film Award. In over 400 films he worked. In the 1980s he was in Bollywood in films such as ‘Mujhe Insaaf Chahiye,’ ‘Ghar Ek Mandir’, or ‘Pyaar Jhukta Nahin.’ In fact, he had never seen a career back. In 1982, the film ‘Disco Dancer’ became extremely popular throughout India. Until the date, his ‘Disco Dancer’ dance steps have been popular.
A good looked, and a fine personality, Mithun Chakraborty weighs about 70 kg and is approximately 6’0 “tall. He’s got a clean shave with black eyes and black hair. He likes to make different hairstyles like long hair, Ponytail, etc. Mithun Da was born and raised to the Bengalis father Basantokumar Chakraborty and Santirani Chakraborty in the Bengali Hindu Brahmin family. He was fallen in an electrocuted accident with a brother. In his relationship with certain Indian actresses, Sarika, Helena Luke, Sridevi, and Yogeeta Bali, Mithun had several filings. He marrying Indian actress Yogeeta Bali and has four children, including three sons (Mahaakshay Chakraborty alike: Mimoh, Ushmey Chakraborty, and Namashi Chakraborty) and a daughter Dishani Chakraborty.
The former actor Mithun Chakraborty is not comfortable celebrating his birthday on 16 June, because the coronavirus pandemic and actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s early demise is a pandemic. Mithun won’t participate in any form of celebration on his special day while many people cast virtual parties in the lockdown.
Sushant was found in his Mumbai residence on Sunday, who reportedly was fighting depression. Many were saddened by the news of his passing. He urged people to accept and learn to live with all “people around you. Don’t harm anybody with your words, no matter what you like or don’t like. Let your ego go forever. Listen patiently, allow all to talk about their minds and hearts because depression’s the greatest assassin.”
